Swedish nu-disco producer Ghassemi is out with his new track "Risqué", released two weeks ago via his soundcloud. "Risqué" is definitely worth a listen, not only because of its arresting guitar-line, but also because of its sheer originality. Ghassemi's sound is really unique because it's like a blend of Madeon, Daft Punk, and KC and The Sunshine Band. In other words, it's pure disco. 'Nuff said. If you like Ghassemi's vibes, be sure to give him some support here.

Saint Pepsi - Fiona Coyne (Lancaster__ Full Vocal Remix )
The first thing that popped into our heads when we heard this was the word, "cool". This track defines it. Lancaster's vocal twist on Saint Pepsi's "Fiona Coyne" is absolutely golden. If you like Blood Orange or other deep synth artists, then definitely give this track a spin. Also, wait for the chorus, that's the selling point (so, so good).

Exclusive Track Premiere: FRANKMUSIK - Go (Ride The Universe Remix)
Be patient with this one. Before we tell you anything about Ride The Universe's latest remix, we ask that you be patient with it when you do hear it. The remix, a kick-ass edit of FRANKMUSIK's "Go", is the coolest house track we've heard all week. It starts of terribly slow, but manages to pick up beautifully around the 40 second mark. The track features a rhythmic, trippy vocal set, and boasts a sound very similar to that of Perseus. Ride The Universe did a solid job on this edit, so be sure to give it a listen below. Throw some love at them here!
Kamp! - Early Days
Kamp! continues to grow their global fanbase on the strength of their stylish synth pop, which fluidly melds modern versions of 80's new-wave with international disco. Their warm, layered production, hit-flavored melodies, melancholic vocals and Balearic brushstrokes, evoke images of dusk-till-dawn beach-parties and dusty mirrorballs in the corners of forgotten nightclubs. Their Baltimore EP consists of topmost quality pop music and sees release on Cascine.
The first track off the EP, "Early Days" is interesting because it doesn't sound like the Kamp! we know. It definitely sounds more electronic and house based as a track, but not necessarily in a bad way. Kamp!'s new sound isn't saturated, quite the contrary its eerily mesmerizing. Be sure to give this gem a listen, and be on the look out for more releases off Kamp!'s "Baltimore" EP!

EXCLUSIVE TRACK PREMIERE: Maethelvin- Waveforms (Live edit.)
Ah, Maethelvin. You just can't go wrong with him. All his tracks, from "Lost in a Big City" to his remix of "Continue" by Minitel Rose, are absolutely brilliant. Disco Unchained is proud to premiere Maethelvin's latest track, "Waveforms". "Waveforms" is a typical Valerie era track...beautiful, eerie synths with melodic 80s undertones. Be sure to give this a listen, Maethelvin is one of our original favorites. You can check his other stuff out here!

Emil Rottmayer - EXP003- July Track Premiere!
The London based synthwave producer Emil Rottmayer caught my attention earlier today with this little gem he released off his EXP EP. We're all about simplicity here at Disco Unchained because often times, simplicity is beauty. And in Emil Rottmayer's case, simplicity is gold.
"EXP003" features a beautiful, minimalist synth scheme, almost reminiscent of College's earlier sound. Though vocal-less, the track speaks volumes. Be sure to give this gem a listen, and be on the look out for Emil Rottmayer. We might be seeing some more of him in the near future!

Jeremy Glenn - New Life (Perseus 'Summer of 83' Remix)
So I'll be upfront here when I say this track isn't new. It's not fresh off any record label, nor is it sweeping the charts by storm. It is, however, one of my favorite house tracks of all-time...and for that I think it deserves to be shared with you.
PERSEUS has been producing quality electro for a while now. His remix of "New Life" by Jeremy Glenn was released around 3 or 4 years ago, and since then, has found a home in my "favorites-playlist". The reason I chose to share this with you was because of its sheer brilliance. I cannot describe the track's feel or vibe in any other fashion...It's magic.
PERSEUS has a gift when it comes to crafting melodies. His remix is spiritual, cosmic, and nostalgic. In fact, the track was nick-named "Summer of 1983 Remix" by Perseus himself (when it was released). Indeed, the track definitely suits that description, because it does boast an 80s throwback feel.
This track has been with me through my ups and downs, and has never once "gotten old", even after putting it on repeat for 3 hours at a time..Be sure to take a special listen to this, because it features exactly the sound we're looking for. The kind of sound that makes you unquestionably euphoric.. The kind of sound that makes you happy.

Electric Youth - Runaway
Old-school italo-disco couple Electric Youth just dropped their newest hit "Runaway" via Secretly Canadian. "Runaway" is from Electric Youth's debut album INNERWORLD scheduled for release on 30/09/14. The track features typical Electric Youth "feel-good" modular synths, and their signature, eerily piercing vocals grâce à Bronwyn.
