So I thought about it, and I realized I haven't been keeping up with the house/deep house scene lately. Even though I adore a lot of music in that area of sound, I have recently been too occupied with electro funk (how can I help it?). Anyway, I made a mix of the fucking sickest house/deep house tunes I've come across lately (with nods to the classics ofcourse). *LOTS* of gems in here, so be sure to scope it out properly. Also, lots of new mixes on the way (Anoraak, Les Fleurs Du Mal, Miami Horror, and tons of others).

Mickey 'LA Anyway' EP
Mickey's new "LA Anyway'' EP is definitely something. Deep house has become a rather saturated genre at the moment, and it's becoming increasingly hard to come across quality music in this niche. However, Mickey's new EP puts all our fears to rest. The first track, 'Holding Hands'' is probably the coolest track of the two-track EP. It's rare we come across an artist that takes vocal samples from Donny and Joe Emerson (If you don't know who they are, do yourself a favor and look them up). "Holding Hands'' features sexy 70s guitar snippets and vocals smoother than Marlboro Lights.
You can find more stuff by Mickey here, and if you're digging his new EP, it's up for grabs here.

Thrupence - Don't You Mind- Future Classic Track Premiere!
Taken from Thrupence's forthcoming album Lessons, out on limited edition paint splatter wax on September 26, 2014, 'Don't You Mind' is the sickest house track we've come across in weeks. Think Klangkarussell, Ben Pearce, and JackLNDN. Yeah, we're talking that cool. This track is going to blow up within the next few weeks, so be sure to enjoy another Disco Unchained track premiere while it's still fresh (and cool for that matter, who wants to listen to music featured on the 'EDM Network?!). Also, be sure to throw some support at Thrupence here!

Jeremy Glenn - New Life (Perseus 'Summer of 83' Remix)
So I'll be upfront here when I say this track isn't new. It's not fresh off any record label, nor is it sweeping the charts by storm. It is, however, one of my favorite house tracks of all-time...and for that I think it deserves to be shared with you.
PERSEUS has been producing quality electro for a while now. His remix of "New Life" by Jeremy Glenn was released around 3 or 4 years ago, and since then, has found a home in my "favorites-playlist". The reason I chose to share this with you was because of its sheer brilliance. I cannot describe the track's feel or vibe in any other fashion...It's magic.
PERSEUS has a gift when it comes to crafting melodies. His remix is spiritual, cosmic, and nostalgic. In fact, the track was nick-named "Summer of 1983 Remix" by Perseus himself (when it was released). Indeed, the track definitely suits that description, because it does boast an 80s throwback feel.
This track has been with me through my ups and downs, and has never once "gotten old", even after putting it on repeat for 3 hours at a time..Be sure to take a special listen to this, because it features exactly the sound we're looking for. The kind of sound that makes you unquestionably euphoric.. The kind of sound that makes you happy.
