Ingredients.

Our good friends at Discobox Records just dropped one of the sickest house gems we've heard in a looong time. Dansoul's ''Ingredients'' is out of this world nasty, with synth phatter than Kim's ass. Definitely give it a spin below, preferably after 10 PM (you'll thank us later). Also, be sure to download ''Ingredients'' cause its FREE and hi-quality.

Music for Dancing! EXCLUSIVE MIX by Shaz

So I thought about it, and I realized I haven't been keeping up with the house/deep house scene lately. Even though I adore a lot of music in that area of sound, I have recently been  too occupied with electro funk (how can I help it?). Anyway, I made a mix of the fucking sickest house/deep house tunes I've come across lately (with nods to the classics ofcourse). *LOTS* of gems in here, so be sure to scope it out properly. Also, lots of new mixes on the way (Anoraak, Les Fleurs Du Mal, Miami Horror, and tons of others).

Justin Faust - Spellbound

Justin Faust does it again. His latest track, ''Spellbound'' is solid gold. ''Spellbound'' is the first track off his new album, which should be set for release sometime in September via our friends at DiscoTexas. Mr. Faust's latest track features clever vocal samples reminiscent of those from Zimmer's ''Galapagos'' from early 2013. The track's drums are solid and the synth is crisp. "Spellbound'' is perfect for late-night drives, dance parties, or just relaxing at home. Be sure to give it a spin below, and definitely throw some love at Justin Faust here.

Corona: Magic Touch (Colon Parker Remix)- Exclusive Track Premiere!!!

Netherlands based Deep House producer Colin Parker just dropped what may in fact be the funkiest song of the month. And we know funk, believe us.

Colin Parker's remix of  'Magic' by Corona is out of this world. The track features an arresting piano scheme, uplifting 90s vocal stems, and creative tropical percussion sounds. Quite literally, Colin Parker's remix is the perfect blend of 90s dance and modern tropical house. A true gem, just waiting to be stumbled upon by those with killer tastes in music. Be sure to give Mr. Parker's latest sound a spin below, and definitely throw some love at him here! We expect nothing but gold from him after this track.

Love Is The Drug For Me - Roxy Music (Joshua Pathon Edit)

A great new edit of Roxy Music's Love is the Drug for Me  by the Australian Dj/produced Joshua Pathon. The track combines heavy funk with some french house to make for a creative rendering of the Brian Ferry and co. original.

Generik Ft. Nicky Van She: The Weekend

Cool has a new sound! ‘Tour Of Cool’ connoisseur GENERIK has taken time out from his International highflying lifestyle, as professional party starter, to invest in his passion for the music that drives his life. Generik’s maiden voyage into the studio is a colossal collab with Nicky Van She, frontman for one of Disco Unchained's favorite synth-bands, "Van She". It’s aptly titled "The Weekend", features Nicky Van She on vocals, and is coming out on ONELOVE for the World.
A joyous story of parties lived and loved, wild adventures celebrated and savored, "The Weekend" hotwires hyperactive house with euphoric ‘90s rave piano, a sleek guitar solo and Nicky Van She on vocals. Naturally, the track was born on a bender, which started in a London pub and spilled back to Nicky’s house to all hours. “Nicky started singing the vocal into his phone on the train home,” recalls Generik Tyson. “We got home and started banging out the piano chords and the core of the track was made.”

Trip Pony- Daze (The Slow Waves Remix)

The Slow Waves just dropped their latest remix, an interesting edit of "Daze", originally by Australian R&B act  "Trip Pony". As usual, The Slow Waves deliver. Barretso-esque synth undertones and vocals reminiscent of Marina & The Diamonds truly make this track a gem. The Slow Waves' sound is unique in the sense that it takes influence from a variety of different electronic sub-genres including synthwave and house. Definitely an interesting tune, so be sure to give it a spin. Also, be sure to throw some love at our friends over at The Slow Waves here

Thrupence - Don't You Mind- Future Classic Track Premiere!

Taken from Thrupence's forthcoming album Lessons, out on limited edition paint splatter wax on September 26, 2014, 'Don't You Mind' is the sickest house track we've come across in weeks. Think Klangkarussell, Ben Pearce, and JackLNDN. Yeah, we're talking that cool. This track is going to blow up within the next few weeks, so be sure to enjoy another Disco Unchained track premiere while it's still fresh (and cool for that matter, who wants to listen to music featured on the 'EDM Network?!). Also, be sure to throw some support at Thrupence here

Exclusive Track Premiere: FRANKMUSIK - Go (Ride The Universe Remix)

Be patient with this one. Before we tell you anything about Ride The Universe's latest remix, we ask that you be patient with it when you do hear it. The remix, a kick-ass edit of FRANKMUSIK's "Go", is the coolest house track we've heard all week. It starts of terribly slow, but manages to pick up beautifully around the 40 second mark. The track features a rhythmic, trippy vocal set, and boasts a sound very similar to that of Perseus.  Ride The Universe did a solid job on this edit, so be sure to give it a listen below. Throw some love at them here

Dianation.

Given the fact it is late summer, and that dreamy and tropical music seem to be on everyone's mind, it is not surprising that a lot of brilliant house tracks have been over looked. One of these tracks is Bermem by unsigned Swedish producer Dianation. A very Prydz-esque track with a heavy synth feel to it, I am excited to see what other tricks this producer has up his sleeve in the future!

Nervo- Sunshine Thru Rain Clouds (GENERIK & NICKY NIGHT TIME REMIX)- Exclusive Premiere July 2014

We remember thinking how awesome it would be if someone did a really cool remix of Nervo's "Sunshine Thru Rain Clouds" (when it was released earlier this year). Lucky for us, one of our favorite new artists, Nicky Night Time (AKA former Van She front-man Nick Routledge), along with Generik decided to take a spin at the track.

And what a spin it was. Nicky Night Time's edit of "Sun Shine Thru Rain Clouds" is both nostalgic and fresh, encompassing sounds from the late 70s and early 90s. The track plays on the best snippets from the original, and manages to give Nervo's house anthem a very funky twist. Be sure to support Nicky Night Time/Generik along with our friends at One Love Music here

Jeremy Glenn - New Life (Perseus 'Summer of 83' Remix)

So I'll be upfront here when I say this track isn't new. It's not fresh off any record label, nor is it sweeping the charts by storm. It is, however, one of my favorite house tracks of all-time...and for that I think it deserves to be shared with you.

PERSEUS has been producing quality electro for a while now. His remix of "New Life" by Jeremy Glenn was released around 3 or 4 years ago, and since then, has found a home in my "favorites-playlist". The reason I chose to share this with you was because of its sheer brilliance. I cannot describe the track's feel or vibe in any other fashion...It's magic.

PERSEUS has a gift when it comes to crafting melodies. His remix is spiritual, cosmic, and nostalgic. In fact, the track was nick-named "Summer of 1983 Remix" by Perseus himself (when it was released). Indeed, the track definitely suits that description, because it does boast an 80s throwback feel.

This track has been with me through my ups and downs, and has never once "gotten old", even after putting it on repeat for 3 hours at a time..Be sure to take a special listen to this, because it features exactly the sound we're looking for. The kind of sound that makes you unquestionably euphoric.. The kind of sound that makes you happy.

Umut Akalin - Smoke Machines & Laser Rays (Tamer Akgul Remix)

What happens when you take a little bit of Soul , some funk, a dash of disco, and a generous amount of house and mix it in a blender? The answer to this question is none other than this track. A perfect balance of all the aforementioned ingredients come together to create a perfect blend (pun intended) of sound. If you like what you hear head over to Umut Akalin's Soundcloud HERE and if your feeling it head over to Beatport to splash some cash HERE.

Alle Farben - She Moves (Far Away) Feat. Graham Candy (Lakechild Remix)

Over the past two months, the relatively new German duo Lakechild have been putting out some quality House with tracks such as Diskostrand being the standout. Their latest effort, a remix of She Moves, continues this. It does not only continue this but it opens up a whole new display of their talent. A soft summery track which is sure to please both the Deep House and Disco crowds.

† Carpenter Brut EP III Propaganda

I can vividly  recall viewing and blogging Carpenter Brut's EP 2 just about a year ago. Ever since that teaser clip, everyone at Disco Unchained has been devoutly loyal to Mr. Brut, particularly because of the audio-visual ingenuity that so creatively defines most of his works. We recently got in touch with Silver Strain and asked them to upload the teaser to Vimeo. Youtube's version was both blocked and banned, due to its graphic and perhaps, culturally insensitive content. But then again, who gives a damn about that? Carpenter Brut's teaser is action packed and brilliantly directed- in a way that seems to pay homage to one of our favorite directors, Quentin Tarantino. Check out Carpenter Brut's EP 3 teaser below, and make sure to be on the look out for the full length version coming this December! You can follow Carpenter Brut here

Fat Sushi & Benjamin Franklin - Talking To The Moon (Original Mix) // [Full Premiere]

Fat Sushi's newest sound is fresher than ever! "Talking To The Moon" features deep synth, very similar to the kind used to HNNY's "No", released earlier this year. The track is essentially a very interesting blend of deep house, nu-disco, and space-pop. Fat Sushi's really knows how to drop a vibe, and his latest release really gives us the goosebumps! You can follow Fat Sushi here

KidBougie- Baghdad Sinatra

Here's a rather interesting synthwave track we came across earlier today. "Baghdad Sinatra" by KidBougie is both devilishly catchy and eerily synthy. It's rare we come across synthwave acts with such creativity.  "Baghdad Sinatra" features awesome space-disco drum samples, great dark-synth undertones, and an absolutely stellar build-up towards the latter half of the track. Be sure to check it out! You guys can follow KidBougie here!

Check out their cosmic-Saddam Hussein artwork!

Citizens! - "Lighten Up" (Tobtok Remix)

Tobtok doesn't disappoint with his latest remix, an edit  of "Lighten Up" by Citizens!, released earlier today via Kitsune Maison. Invigorating as usual, Tobtok's newest mix heavily encompasses both nu-disco and indie-rock elements. Though some chorus-sections feel pitchy at times, the track overall holds a very smooth feel, and is perfect for lounging around outdoors.
